Hello everyone sorry for the delay today I am doing my next game reviews on the two winners of the polls and this game has a pretty dark and gory which is awesome. So I will advise ahead of time that this game is rated M for Mature and its actually pretty gory while very well detailed about most of its fatalities well anyway onto the review here it is " The Darkness II" The darkness II is about the main character Jackie Estacado has become the don of the Franchetti Crime Family. While certain people know he wields a evil power called "The Darkness" a very evil and vile force that has given Jackie untold power but lately Jackie has been able to suppress the darkness thats to one of his family members named " Johnny Powell " but after awhile the darkness has made a uneasy feeling around Johnny thus made him mentally unstable and he fled from the family. ( Warning there are spoilers ahead if you haven't really played the first Darkness so I am going to hint what happened from the last game in small details) Jackie is still suffering from a loved one he lost which his power the darkness has prevented him from saving that person from certain death. Now after a couple of years after the incident Jackie has somewhat forgotten about the darkness and living his life as usual until one night going to his family restaurant and meeting some very beautiful women a sudden mob gang attack and as the car crashes right through the window setting the whole place in flames and gun fire while Jackie's leg is all mangled and beyond messed up. After being pulled away by one of his family members saving his life, a sudden mysterious figure shows up and tells his men to continue attacking the building while all of this was going on the darkness was calling for Jackie to use its power and embrace the dark power. Which Jackie refuses to use it soon afterwards Jackie was caught in a huge explosion and slowly bleeding out as he crawls towards the dark figure Jackie accepts the darkness to destroy those that hurt his family as it stabs through the enemies in the alleyway threw the stomach and out of another guys chest. The Darkness heals Jackie's leg with its regenerative powers now he sets out to find out what this guy wants and does he know what the darkness is? and is there a way to control the Darkness along the way. Now the Game play of the Darkness II is something that is very interesting what I call it is " Quad Control " you can fight most people in this game with either just your tentacles or just guns or both. This game allows you to be as destructive as you can to destroy your enemies and have the feeling like you are somewhat god like ( Or Demon like in this case) Here is an example of the Game play and how it works in mostly your favor
The game is actually pretty good and wish there was another Darkness coming out to complete the cliffhanger they showed us at the end of the game. Maybe someday they will make a Darkness 3 soonish but for now I really liked the Darkness video game series and I have read the comic book as a fan I would give it a 9 but to be professional I give the Darkness II a ......... 8.9 for a gory game but with its few glitches it almost got a 9 but still a must buy for those that love the darkness comics or darkness in general.

I have finally reached my second milestone for this website and I thank you for everyone who has viewed my blog and portfolio. I am planning to do something special for the viewers here maybe my first Video Game Review or something like that but thank you everyone for helping me get to this point :D
Hey everyone! As many people have been waiting for this week its getting close to my second milestone of 20,000 page views at this moment I am now 19,330 people have viewed my blog and website in general. Which I thank those that have taken the time to look through my reviews even though I have spelling errors here and there which are being fixed, and now since I have caught up with most of my reviews it's onto " The Darkness 2 and The Wolf Among us ".
After these two reviews are done I will have another poll and or randomizing the game choices. Thanks for the support guys !!! :D The main story focuses on the main Character Max. One day he coming home from school to play with his toys as he walks up the stairs and hears his brother Felix Max's little brother was in his room messing around with his toys. Annoyed by Felix he goes to his computer and looks for a website that can wish his brother away ( I mean we all feel that way sometimes with brothers or sisters) and once he spoke the poem to wish his brother away " Brother, brother, o' brother of mine. I wish you could be erased from all time. I wish your traces could be gone from all places. That evil itself could take you away and leave me alone on this very day." Suddenly a monster like arm comes out of a portal in the wall grabbing his brother and pulling him in as Max goes in after Felix not wondering where this will take him and will he be able to save his brother from certain doom? To talk about the game play in Max the Curse of Brotherhood its something that is very interesting and having a new in-game mechanic that not many games can pull off well. That in certain areas of the game you will be using the magic marker that you gain from the guardian of the their world to help you across gaps or places that Max can't normally reach basically giving the player have more interaction with the game's main character. As this marker can interact with the world to draw bridges, movable flows of water. vines, ear, fireballs and you can drawn however you want but as long as it gets you to continue on with your adventure.
As much as I really like this game and how it was designed there are some flaws to the game but its something that can be easily looked over except that you can get easily lost in this game but that's why you explore around the level and look for hidden items. So I will give Max: Curse of Brotherhood a....... 7.5 out of 10
Well it's review time to review an old game but it became alot better for the PC were it belonged. This is a game that really interested me while I was playing it giving it a feel of a new RPG/Strategy game The story begins with a young boy named Rush Sykes, an 18 year old boy from a nice peaceful island with his 14 year old sister, Irina. As they were getting a package from their parents telling them that they are going to go live with them as the clouds were starting to darken and a orange glow travels across the sky as sudden monsters drop down around them ( 4 of them to be exact) circle around them. As the man they owns a flying Remnant appears in front of them knocking out Rush and taking his sister Irina and once he took her away Rush's has awakened to a new power which disables the enemies and turns them into ash. Now Rush has to go after this cloaked man and fine out what is his goal on taking his sister, why is she so important to him plan and what does want to do with her? The game play is pretty straight forward that you have to try several different ways about defeating your enemy there are a list of commands to do with the two or more groups that you have in the fight. So you have to try and remember your past experiences with the enemies you have fought to find their weaknesses. Here is an example on what the game play is on the PC version of The Last Remnant Its sort of like your regular type strategy game but with the RPG elements into it to make it more that with the right equipment and making sure to stop the enemies that try to flank your team that is fighting. So into playing the game I like it so far and the game play feels more fluid on the PC rather than playing on the Xbox 360 which was somewhat a bit confusing. Everything looked 10x times better than what it looked on the console things were a little bit easier with the custom controls and I am pretty sure later that someone or has already made modes for the game to change things up a bit for how the game plays. So far I really like the game even though before it first came out people gave it bad reviews and low scores because it was either to long or just something that had too much dialog. While I respect their opinions I have to say this game still is somewhat worth the buy.. if you like games that has a good story even though there is a little bit much of dialog then this might not be a game for you but if you do not mind the long dialog and love strategic games re-regardless then I say you should definitely have this in your steam library. So I give the game "The Last Remnant a.........
7.5 Out of 10 Not the best but still a good game none the less Hello everyone, I know it has been awhile I have been kind of busy with getting close to graduating so time is somewhat limited hopefully over this weekend I can get at least these last two reviews done and moving on to the winners of the polls reviews....Soo much Work !!
