The main story focuses on the main Character Max. One day he coming home from school to play with his toys as he walks up the stairs and hears  his brother Felix Max's little brother was in his room messing around with his toys. Annoyed by Felix he goes to his computer and looks for a website that can wish his brother away ( I mean we all feel that way sometimes with brothers or sisters) and once he spoke the poem to wish his brother away "  Brother, brother, o' brother of mine. I wish you could be erased from all time. I wish your traces could be gone from all places. That evil itself could take you away and leave me alone on this very day."  Suddenly a monster like arm comes out of a portal in the wall grabbing his brother and pulling him in as Max goes in after Felix not wondering where this will take him and will he be able to save his brother from certain doom?

To talk about the game play in Max the Curse of Brotherhood its something that is very interesting and having a new in-game mechanic that not many games can pull off well. That in certain areas of the game you will  be using the magic marker that you gain from the guardian of the their world to help you across gaps or places that Max can't normally reach basically giving the player have more interaction with the game's main character. As this marker can interact with the world to draw bridges, movable flows of water. vines, ear, fireballs and you can drawn however you want but as long as it gets you to continue on with your adventure.

Pros
  • Amazing Environment
  • Interactive game and lets you be somewhat creative
  •  Only $15 Dollars well worth its price
  • Great Puzzles/platform
  • Good Replay-value
  • encourages you to explore the levels

 Cons
  • Doesn't give you much direction
  • Not enough levels to continue using all the powers
  • Game does crash sometimes

As much as I really like this game and how it was designed there are some flaws to the game but its something that can be easily looked over except that you can get easily lost in this game but that's why you explore around the level and look for hidden items. So I will give Max: Curse of  Brotherhood a....... 7.5 out of 10
